Champions Arena 2 is not a sequel

The Champions Arena II was an online Pokemon Champions tournament on 4 and 5 July 2026. It is not a second Gala RPG.

The event, in their numbers

Victory Road posted the report on 29 June 2026. The event ran online across 4 and 5 July 2026. 706 players entered. The game was Pokemon Champions under the 2026 season rules, Regulation Set M-B. The structure was 8 plus 4 Swiss rounds, then an X-2 top cut, with open team lists. Guests named on the page were Sekiam, Folagor, and PokeAlex. The organizer was Victory Road.

The champion was Marco Silva, handle marcofiero, with an 11-1 Swiss record, with a published prize of $2,120. I am repeating that prize because the report prints it. I am not converting it or estimating appearance fees.

Why this page exists

People searching champions arena 2 land on this tournament, then wonder if OneUniverse shipped a follow-up to the 2023 battler. They did not announce one in any post I used for the Gala archive. The Gala game's own story in 2026 is a sunset, which is a different page: what happened.

Pokemon Champions, the video game, is also not this website's subject. I am only parking the tournament facts so the sequel misread has somewhere honest to die. Team lists, speed tiers, and move legality belong on Victory Road. I link the report and stop.

If a 2027 edition is announced, the cell for a return date can be filled then. Today it is empty on purpose.

Questions

Is there a Champions Arena 2 game?

Not from Gala or OneUniverse. The result for that phrase is a Victory Road event played in Pokemon Champions.

Who won?

Marco Silva, listed as marcofiero, won the event with an 11-1 Swiss record and a published prize of $2,120.

Will it return in 2027?

The event page does not say. I am not guessing.
