What the help article actually says

Royal Kingdom runs Champions Arena as a limited competition. Ten players chase rewards. You do not choose a start button in the abstract: the event appears after the levels you can see are finished and the district tasks you can see are finished. If a guide on another site quotes a specific area number, it is adding a figure the FAQ does not print. I leave that cell empty.

The event is staged. Each stage has a cup target and a reward. Extra cups come from Hard, Super Hard, Kingdom, and Dark Kingdom levels. Your place on the board is the cup count. The prize also depends on entry time. Joining sooner is worth more than joining late, even at the same cup total.

Potions, exits, and the schedule

While the event is running, potion gains stop. They resume when a new batch of levels is released. That pause is easy to miss if you only read the cup rules.

Entry is a commitment. The FAQ says you cannot drop out halfway. You wait until the event ends or until those new levels arrive. I cannot tell you the next start date. Dream Games does not publish a fixed calendar for this rotation in the article I read.
